  1. Hello to everybody!

Today I’m going to prepare “fideuá” for my family. I’d like to invite you for lunch ... although on second thought ... I think that we would turn out to be too many people and I’d have to buy a lot of plates, forks, glasses ... chairs ... and a BIGGER HOUSE!!
So if you want to taste my “fideuá”, the only thing that I can do is giving you my recipe, hahaha ;-))

    RECIPE FOR FIDEUA
    Ingredients:
    - olive oil
    - 1 small chopped onion
    - 3 cloves of chopped garlic
    - a pinch of saffron or a bit of yellow food colouring
    - 1 green pepper, sliced
    - 1 red pepper, sliced
    - a generous stream of white wine
    - 5 peeled tomatoes
    - tomato sauce
    - hollow noodles
    - water
    - salt
    - 1 kilo of sliced white fish
    - 2 or 3 bay leaves and thyme

First heat some olive oil over medium heat in a large frying pan (paella). Add the garlic and sauté until light brown. Then add the onion and cook it until begins to become transparent. Add the peppers, a pinch of salt and cook a few minutes more. Now add the white wine and turn the heat up until the alcohol evaporates. Add the tomatoes and mix all well. Then add the tomato sauce and the food colouring. Now add the noodles and mix all well again for 1 minute. Now add the water and boil for 5 to 7 minutes more. Then add the fish, the bay leaves, the thyme and cook 10 to 15 minutes more.

That’s all. I hope that you like it.

    Enjoy your meal!

    Joan

  2. CHEESECAKE WITH BLUEBERRIES:

    INGREDIENTS:
    For the basis of mass:
Graham crackers 350 grams of classical Fontaneda
    220 grams of softened butter

    FOR THE FILLING:
    4 eggs
½ kilo of Burgos cheese (we recommend ½ kilo tub of Albe brand) or drained of fluid.
1 small brick (200 milliliters) of cream (we recommend Reny Picot)
1 large tub of 300 grams cream cheese philadelphia
    4 tablespoons sugar
    1 tablespoon vanilla sugar.

    FOR TOPPING:
2 bottles of 340 grams each jam, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries etc ...
1 envelope of powdered gelatin neutral Royal
fresh cranberries for garnish, or alternatively, fruit jam that we have chosen.

    PREPARATION:
    1) Crush the biscuits in the Thermomix for 20 seconds at speed 8. Make sure they are crushed and there are no whole pieces. Add the softened butter and mix at speed 6 for 10 seconds, until dough is smooth.
    2) Pour the mixture obtained in a round springform pan 26 cm in diameter, and press with fingers to make it a uniform coating, smooth and compact. Insert it into a preheated oven at 180 º C for 13 minutes. Avoid burning. Remove dough from oven and let cool in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
    3) Meanwhile, clean the glass of the Thermomix and add eggs, well drained Burgos cheese, cheese Philadelphia, the two types of sugar and cream. Beat at speed 6 for 2 minutes. Mass should be fine with some volume.
    4) Pour the cheese mixture over the cake cool, and place it in a preheated oven at 180 º C for 30 minutes. The dough should be slightly golden curd and on the surface. If you find you need more cooking time, ensure that it does not burn.
    5) Remove cake from oven and let cool to room temperature.
    6) To make the topping pour all glaze ingredients in the bowl of the Thermomix, 3 minutes and set temperature 70 ° C and speed 1. Pour the icing on the cake cool, decorate with fruit and place in the refrigerator until it has curdled.
    7) Once cool, unmold and serve.
